Eileen is walking more upright and learning to overcome her fear of falling.
Eileen had a stroke three years ago which affected her left hand side; this really knocked her confidence as she had little movement in her left arm and her walking was poor. Eileen initially had physiotherapy with the NHS so we recognised the benefits of it, when this came to an end we sought out private neurological physiotherapy. I was concerned if physiotherapy would help, would the cost be justified but Eileen has been working on her standing balance and walking ability consequently she is walking much more upright and learning to overcome her fear of falling.
