Rehabilitation in your home

Anne

My posture is so much better after physiotherapy.

I have had Multiple Sclerosis since I my thirties, I am 69 now. I live alone and I’m currently supported by carers, nurses and physiotherapy. My condition changes from day to day and I have learnt that I benefit from regularly moving my body and avoiding the poor postures that I tend to assume when left to my own devices. This is where the physiotherapy really helps; the sessions focus on improving my sitting posture which is always so much better after the sessions. Rob and Lisa also work upon keeping my limbs supple and strong, and on my better days we work on my standing ability. I’ve chosen to invest in doing physiotherapy because it helps me manage my fluctuating condition much better.
